Job Mission
The aim of the position is to generate business through the analysis and understanding of the needs of clients and partners, and the development of technical-commercial proposals using our portfolio of products and services to present the best solution at the best price.
The role will also involve active collaboration with the marketing departments to incorporate customer feedback and identified market needs.
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will support the commercial area daily in acquiring new clients or partners and in cross-selling/up-selling actions.
The Pre-Sales Engineer will perform the following tasks on a daily basis:
- Participation in meetings with clients and partners to gather data and requirements (meetings can be in-person or remote);
- Analysis of client problems and needs;
- Preparation of technical-economic proposals (offers) based on our products and services;
- Defence of the prepared proposals;
- Follow-up and support in the implementation/start-up of the elaborated projects;
- Support to the Business and Direct Sales commercial areas with presentations and demonstrations.
Other tasks that will be performed periodically are:
- Training in existing technologies related to Gigas’ activities and those of its suppliers;
- Providing training on Gigas’ products and solutions to commercial representatives and partners;
- Collaborating with the marketing department in market analyses, presentations, webinars, or other activities;
- Collaboration in supplier management.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in technical activities related to implementation/configuration/administration of servers, routers, firewalls, and cloud platforms;
- 3 years of experience in management tasks or liaison with end clients;
- Experience in the pre-sales area is valued;
- Certifications and/or courses in the following are valued:
- Microsoft MCSA or MCSE;
- Fortinet NSE;
- VMware;
- Cisco CCNA;
- KVM;
- Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Job Mission
To provide the functional areas (hiring managers) with market information in order to jointly draw up competitive remuneration plans as part of highly efficient talent management within the Gigas group.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Proactively identify talent needs across the organisation, especially in the territory where you work;
- Maintain a pool of potential candidates for more efficient recruitment;
- Ensure the proper use of the Scorecard in each search by the hiring manager and provide support as needed;
- Identify and propose headhunters to support the selection process;
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the selection process and ensure its timely communication within the company;
- Continuously monitor the job market in the areas of greatest interest to the Gigas Group and generate market intelligence reports;
- Analyse reports from companies like Mercer or similar regarding market salary levels and propose compensation policies in line with the market and the Group’s strategy;
- Support group managers with teams in the correct use of performance appraisal tools and the definition of variable remuneration for each individual;
- Develop and maintain performance indicators for your area, such as staff turnover, time needed to recruit a candidate, days of vacancies, % of vacancies in relation to the total workforce, % of A-Players, etc.;
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, particularly through the creation and execution of onboarding plans and corporate communication;
- Prepare and validate purchase orders ensuring the correct allocation of resources and values;
- Participate in and follow up on applicable internal and external audits, ensuring feedback to the entities involved;
- Manage mailboxes associated with DOT;
- Apply and comply with quality, environmental, health and safety at work, and information security procedures in force at the company.
